Your whole home, in your pocket — and nowhere else.
A home inventory for iPhone and iPad that treats your data the way you would: it stays on your device, or syncs to a server you host yourself. Rooms hold boxes, boxes hold items, items carry photos — and a QR or NFC label on the box lid finds any of it in seconds.
Local-first, on purpose
Most inventory apps are a thin front on someone else's database. HomeVault is the opposite: the phone owns the data. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking — the app works completely without a network, and the developer could not read your inventory even if he wanted to.
If you run a NAS or a home server, HomeVault Pro syncs to it over an address and access token you enter yourself. Your devices stay up to date with each other; nothing touches a third-party cloud.
Label a box once, find it forever
Print a QR label or write an NFC tag from the box screen. Scanning it later opens the box's contents instantly — no typing, no browsing.
Photos first
Every item can carry a photo, and the grid is built around them. You recognise your things faster than you can read their names.
Lending that remembers for you
Mark an item as lent with a borrower and a due date. The dashboard keeps a quiet list of what is out of the house and who has it.
Works in the basement
Offline-first means actually offline: the cellar, the attic, the storage unit with no signal. Everything works; sync catches up later.
Free where it counts
The free tier is not a trial — it never expires and nothing you enter is held hostage. Pro removes the limits and turns on self-hosted sync. If Pro lapses, your data stays exactly where it is.

Subscriptions renew monthly through the App Store and can be cancelled anytime in your account settings. The self-hosted server is open infrastructure — it runs from a single Docker compose file on your own hardware.
